Paul Meredith joins GNTC Foundation’s Board of Trustees

Paul Meredith

The Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) Foundation announces the appointment of Paul Meredith to the GNTC Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Meredith has more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing. He has worked at Mohawk Industries Inc. since 2002, serving the last five years as senior technical director of Bulk Continuous Filament (BCF) Extrusion Manufacturing. Prior to Mohawk Industries, he worked as a vice president of manufacturing at the Dixie Group, vice president of operations for Image Industries and plant engineer at Burlington Industries.

Meredith earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

He currently serves as chairman of the Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce and previously served on GNTC’s Board of Directors for nine years. He is a member and Sunday School teacher at Horizon Baptist Fellowship in Summerville.

Meredith has been married to his wife, Wanda, for 43 years. The couple resides in Summerville.
