Three local educators nomited for GSLI Hidden Heroes campaign

Two Rome City School System professionals and one Regional Education Service Agencies educator have been nominated for the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement’s 2024 Hidden Heroes campaign.

They are Ashley Hamby, an Agriculture Education Teacher at Rome Middle School; Haley Hall, a Resource Teacher for 7th & 8th Grade ELA, Science and Social Studies at Rome Middle School; and Bucky Bush, the Director of Technology for Northwest Georgia RESA.

The Georgia-based nonprofit organization’s Fiffth annual Hidden Heroes, a crowdsourced statewide campaign seeks to elevate regard for the teaching profession and ignite a wave of gratitude among the general public for the work of public school educators and employees.

The public can vote for their Hidden Hero from now until November 22.
