On Monday morning, the popular “Breakfast with Friends” segment from Fox and Friends was broadcast live from Eggs Up Grill.
Guests for the event began to arrive as early as 5:00 AM for first-come, first-served seating at the restaurant in the East Bend Shopping Center.
Lawrence Jones, the Co-host of the FOX & Friends weekday edition show, hosted the live broadcast.
Fox News stated that the program aimed to capture community perspectives ahead of Election Day, placing Rome Georgia in the national spotlight.
Jones gave us a statement regarding the importance of this type of election reporting:
“I always say that you can’t rely solely on polls when trying to gauge the pulse of the people. There needs to be a balance between the two. When the polls are consistent with the people’s sentiments, stakeholders pay attention.”
