Three arrested on drug charges

Three people were arrested on drug charges after Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers executed a search warrant at a home on Klassing Street in South Rome Thursday.

According to Floyd County Jail records: 

24-year-old Shuntavious Shermar Clark of Rome was found with more than an ounce of marijuana in multiple baggies, a whole bottle of Promethazine DM (a prescription cough medicine), suspected fentanyl pills, and two handguns.

He is charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule V controlled substance, possession of a Schedule V controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of drug-related objects.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Jordahni Rimpel of Rome and 24-year-old Trinity Lamya James of Cartersville had several bottles of Promethazine, less than an ounce of marijuana, pills, and mushrooms. 

They are charged with possession of a Schedule V controlled substance, possession of a Schedule V controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
