The Rome-Floyd County Planning Commission will consider a rezoning request for 700 Park Avenue in Lindale when they meet Thursday.

The applicant is seeking to rezone from High-Density Traditional Residential to Community Commercial, as the property has always been used as a repair shop.

It was previously an automotive repair shop and is currently an appliance repair shop.

The planning commission will also consider annexation requests for two residences in Garden Lakes.

The applicants at 500 Elliott Drive and 2705 Garden Lakes Boulevard are seeking to be annexed into the City of Rome.

The planning commission meeting begins at 2:30 p.m. at Rome City Hall.
