The Floyd County Police Department has launched a new mobile app.
The interactive platform has a plethora of resources that can be used for multiple different purposes, including submitting patrol requests, getting updates on severe weather, staying up to date on current events in the community, and being informed when a major event is occurring in the community such as a missing person or road closures.
There are also many community resources, from information on homeless shelters and emergency planning tips to medical transportation, victim assistance, and more.
The app will show you exactly where the resource is and provide contact information.
You can also anonymously submit tips with an option to add images.
