The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Freeze Watch for Northwest that will be in effect from late Thursday night through Friday morning.
This includes the following counties: Gordon, Floyd, Bartow, Polk, and Paulding.
Expected Conditions:
- Temperatures could drop as low as 25°F
- Frost and freeze conditions may harm crops and sensitive vegetation
- Unprotected outdoor plumbing could also be at risk of damage
How to Prepare:
- Cover or bring indoors any tender plants
- Wrap exposed pipes to prevent freezing
- Check on pets to ensure they have warm shelter
