Two local women are accused of helping an inmate who escaped from the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections back on January 15.
According to the arrest warrants:
34-year-old Bethany Diane Griffith of Rome provided safe haven to prevent the man’s apprehension while 27-year-old Madison Suzanne Brown of Shannon provided transportation for the escapee.
Both are charged with felony counts of hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
