Woman charged with terroristic threats and acts, simple battery
A Kingston woman was arrested at her Ireland Drive home on Monday after she allegedly threatened to kill her husband in front of police officers.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
69-year-old Deborah Arlene Johnson also hit the victim.
She is charged with a felony count of terroristic threats and acts and a misdemeanor count of simple battery.
Report: Woman stole nearly $585 in merchandise from Walmart
A Summerville woman was booked into the Floyd County Jail Monday on a felony theft by shoplifting charge.
According to jail records:
30-year-old Hannah Louise Hughes attempted to steal close to $585 in merchandise from the West Rome Walmart on Redmond Circle.
She passed all points of sale without scanning all the items at the register.
