Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday at Shorter Avenue and Horseleg Creek Road.
According to a Rome Police Department report:
A 2021 Chevy Blazer driven by a Rome man was in the center turn lane attempting to make a left turn when it was T-boned by a 2005 Nissan Titan traveling in the opposite direction, also in the turn lane.
The driver of the Nissan, a 51-year-old Cedartown woman, and 57-year old a passenger were transported to Atrium Health Floyd with what were believed to be minor injuries as was the driver of the Blazer.
The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. and the driver of the Titan was cited for improper use of the center turn lane.
