Man arrested following incident at Lindale home
A Lindale man was arrested Wednesday on warrants charging him with battery and 3rd-degree cruelty to children.
According to the warrants:
42-year-old Brian Steve Jeter ripped a woman’s shirt and grabbed her by the neck while attempting to take her cell phone away from her.
Jeter thought the victim was recording him and she had placed her phone in her bra to keep him from taking it.
The victim sustained red marks around her neck.
The woman’s teenage son then tried to get Jeter to stop hurting his mother.
Jeter then approached the teen and told him “What are you going to do about it.”
