Man charged with entering an auto, theft of firearm

A 47-year-old West Rome man is accused of entering three vehicles, stealing a firearm from one and money from another.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Dondi Pryor was located while hiding in a shed on Deerbrook Drive with the stolen items along with marijuana and counterfeit money.

He is charged with entering an auto, theft by taking, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, 1st-degree forgery, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Man arrested on drug charges

A Waco, Georgia man who was stopped by stopped by police for running as red light at Turner McCall Boulevard and MLK Jr. Boulevard is facing drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

27-year-old Andrew Jamey McInvale was found with oxycodone, trazodone, and a small amount of marijuana.

He is charged with possession of s Schedule II controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and failure to obey a traffic control device.

Report: Man threw woman’s belongings in trash

A Lindale man is facing a felony count of 2nd-degree criminal damage to property following an incident at his Davis Street home.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

74-year-old Mickey Dale Dempsey Sr. took a woman’s belongings valued at more than $1,000 and threw them in the trash.
