Two arrested in liquor store burglary

Two Rome residents are accused of breaking into a West Rome liquor store early Monday morning.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

20-year-old Austin Thomas Silvers and 37-year-old Heather Johnson Moreno Cruz smashed the front glass door at Cheers Liquor on Shorter Avenue.

Once inside, they took two bottles of alcohol and a bag of pork rinds.

Silvers and Moreno are charged with 2nd-degree burglary and criminal trespass.
