[VIDEO] Synthica breaks ground on renewable gas facility in Floyd County

Wednesday afternoon, Synthica Energy hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for their upcoming renewable natural gas facility in Floyd County.

Located off West Hermitage Road, the plant aims to divert nearly 250,000 tons of organic waste from local landfills each year, converting it into renewable energy.

The Rome facility is Synthica’s third project, joining sites currently under construction in Cincinnati and San Antonio.
