Fifth person dies from injuries in Sunday crash on I-75 at Red Top Mountain Road

A multi-vehicle crash on I-75 near Red Top Mountain Road Bartow County on Sunday has claimed another life.

WBHF Radio in Cartersville reports that Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton confirmed that 6-year-old Titus Mason was removed from life support Wednesday.

43-year-old Dakarai Mason and 35-year-old Erin Mason also died in the crash, as did 15-year-old Brandon Crawford, who was also in the Mason’s Kia van.

Noah Mason was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries and is expected to survive.

21-year-old Aimee Odom, who was driving a Toyota 4Runner, also died in the crash.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the Kia was traveling northbound, when for an unknown reason, crossed the grass median striking a Chevy Tahoe and the 4Runner.

The van and the 4Runner were struck by a commercial vehicle.
