Report: Man found with cocaine at the jail
A 33-year-old Rome man is facing felony charges after he was reportedly found with cocaine while being booked at the Floyd County Jail.
According to jail records:
William Wayne Bridges of a Dodd Boulevard address is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of items prohibited for inmates, and 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
Man charged with criminal trespass, meth possession
A Rome man is facing drug charges following his arrest on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
41-year-old Marcus Lamar Williams went into the woods next to 208 East 18th Street, which is owned by a church, and was found with synthetic marijuana, methamphetamine, a syringe, and a clear glass smoking device.
Williams is charged with possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of meth, possession of drug-related objects, and criminal trespass.
