The Coosa Valley Fair marks the beginning of the fall season for residents across the region. The 2023 edition of the fair officially opens on Tuesday.
Livestock and poultry shows have already been taking place and entries for various exhibits began Sunday.
The grand opening is at 5 p.m. Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting.
Carloads will be admitted for $10, and there will be $30 armbands for unlimited rides.
Also Tuesday, the Coosa Valley Village Building opens along with the flower show, homemaking, photography, and art exhibits.
Attractions include the Jurassic Kingdom Show, Michael Frisbee Magic, and the Space Adventures Thrill Show.
The highlight of the evening is the annual cheerleading exhibition and spirit competition, which begins at 7 p.m.
