It’s that time of the year where most people worry about staying healthy and receiving the Flu Vaccine.
This past week was national Influenza Vaccine week, and Janet Eberhart with Northwest Georgia Public Health spoke on Hometown Headlines radio edition with John Druckenmiller about this past flu season and what we can expect this season.
“The Strains in the virus circulate differently every year. That’s why it is crucial to get it every year. This is the time of the year where we are indoors most of the time with a lot more people.”
Eberhart encouraged everyone to get a vaccine calling for people to make sure friends and loved ones are taking steps to protect themselves from what could turn into something more serious.
